Sukh Bhojpuri gives the language a whole station instead of a novelty slot, and the day is laid out around the hours its listeners actually work rather than around an ordinary breakfast to drive arc. New releases run before most people leave the house rather than after dinner. The stage and orchestra repertoire holds the middle of the morning at full volume, and then the afternoon is handed to one long unbroken stretch of kajri and the other monsoon forms instead of being cut into short segments. Birha, the ballads about leaving home, sits in the early evening while there is still somebody in the room willing to hear a long song out, and nirgun runs late, plain and close to unaccompanied, through the dark hours and into the changeover.
